Instagram is a photo/video sharing platform, whereby users post images/videos from their mobile phones, and other instagram users 'like' their images. Instagram also has a direct messaging service that allows users to message each other privately. For the parent's guide to instagram, please click here.
Snapchat is also a photo/video sharing platform, where by users post images/videos from their mobile phones. Snapchat images disappear after ten seconds and cannot be recovered, so it is difficult as a parent to 'police' your child's activity. For the parent's guid to Snapchat, please click here.
