Supporting charities and those less fortunate than ourselves is very important to us as a school. Here are just some of the charities we regularly support:
Stockport Foodbank provide emergency food for those in need around our local area. Our nearest base is at our chruch, St Philip's the Apostle. We regularly donate food for the food bank, and our PLT take down donations on a weekly basis. To find out more about the incredible work the food bank does, click here.
As a school, we regularly support the work of The Wellspring Centre in Stockport. The Wellspring is a charity based in the centre of Stockport that acts a base to serve the homeless around the local area. To find out more about The Wellspring and the great work it does click here.
This year, our Lenten fundraising efforts were focused on A Bed Every Night, a charity set up by the Mayor of Manchester, Andy Burnham. A Bed Every Night is a charity that helps the homeless around Greater Manchester. To find out more about A Bed Every Night click here.
